Call it gene expression ... epigenetics … grit ... whatever term you choose, the simple fact of the matter is that we with disabilities build incredible powers to navigate the world! Each moment poses challenges such as traffic, cyclists, other pedestrians, steps, COVID-19. We believe that these experiences result in daily adaptations to our physical and mental abilities. We literally innovate daily just by living!
At Tactile Navigation Tools, we view disabilities as the the primer to finding superhuman abilities. To facilitate that process, we are building a sandbox of hardware and software tools focused on improving navigation. We are on a mission to enable those of us with visual impairment to find their superpowers!
